Tanzeela Mazhar is an accomplished journalist, anchor, and media/communication specialist with a passion for gender equality and diversity. With over two decades of experience in the field of journalism, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the industry. Her dedication to promoting inclusivity and amplifying underrepresented voices has been evident throughout her career. Currently she is working with GTV as prime time anchor and head of programming.

In addition to her role as an anchor, Tanzeela is also a recognized expert/trainer in media ethics, gender & diversity and communication. She has done extensive work on the representation of marginalized groups in the media and has been a vocal advocate for more inclusive storytelling practices. She focuses on human rights, governance, climate change and political issues in her work. She is founder of Women In Media Alliance WIMA Pakistan.
