Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal is a Professor of International Politics at the School of Politics and International Relations, Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad.

Dr. Jaspal was the Director of the School of Politics and International from October 5, 2012, to January 18, 2016. Before joining the University, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad and Islamabad Policy Research Institute, Islamabad, Pakistan

Dr. Jaspal research interests include Pakistan’s National Security, Proliferation of nuclear weapons and missile systems, particularly in South Asia, Arms Control/Disarmament, and Nuclear Nonproliferation regime. He is a prolific writer. His latest published book is India’s Surgical Strike Stratagem: Brinksmanship and Responses (April 2019).

Dr. Jaspal, as a Guest Speaker/Visiting Lecturer, had delivered and continues to give lectures at many professional and training institutions, including distinguished NATO School, Oberammergau, Germany; NATO Defense College Rome, Italy, Center of Excellence: Defence against Terrorism, Ankara, Turkey; National Security & War Courses of Pakistan’s National Defence University; Foreign Service Academy, Islamabad, Intelligence Bureau Academy, Command and Staff College Quetta; Naval War College, Lahore, Air War College, Karachi.

Ms. Fauzia Nasreen is a former Pakistani Ambassador.

Ms. Fauzia Nasreen is a former Pakistani Ambassador. She joined the diplomatic service in 1973 and rose to be the country’s ambassador to Nepal and Poland. After her retirement from the foreign services, Ms. Nasreen served as a visiting faculty at various universities. She currently serves as the Advisor (SDGs) at the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS).

Mr. Soofi was also a member of the Advisory Committee to the United Nations Human Rights Council and is currently a senior partner of a Law firm namely, ABS&Co.

Dr. Rubina Waseem is an Assistant Professor in the Centre for International Peace & Stability (CIPS) at the National University of Science & Technology (NUST), earlier she was an Assistant Professor in National Defence University for 6 years. She is a former research fellow of The George Washington University Washington DC. She holds an M.Phil and M.Sc degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Quaid-I-Azam University, Islamabad. Her interest areas are Foreign Policy, Space Technology, Nuclear Export Control Regimes, Nuclear proliferation Issues, International Security, Strategic Studies, Contemporary Security Issues, International Law and Research Methodology. She has a strong background of research & training in the field of strategic and security studies; and more than ten years of teaching experience in the renowned universities of the capital city of Pakistan. She has published several articles in international and national journals and contributed a book chapter titled “US-China Strategic Competition: Through the Matrix of Complex Interdependence,” in the book titled “China in the Indo-Pacific: Maneuvers and Manifestations,” published by Palgrave Macmillan. She has participated in several international and national conferences and presented her research work on security and strategic issues.

With over two decades of experience in the field of journalism, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the industry. Her dedication to promoting inclusivity and amplifying underrepresented voices has been evident throughout her career. Currently she is working with GTV as prime time anchor and head of programming.

In addition to her role as an anchor, Tanzeela is also a recognized expert/trainer in media ethics, gender & diversity and communication. She has done extensive work on the representation of marginalized groups in the media and has been a vocal advocate for more inclusive storytelling practices. She focuses on human rights, governance, climate change and political issues in her work. She is founder of Women In Media Alliance WIMA Pakistan.

She has a major in Economics and a vast experience in managing the tax compliance of big corporations. A staunch advocate of keeping Human Security as the foremost consideration in Government policies, she believes in employing ethical considerations in tax practice and brings forth a fresh perspective in promoting human security in Pakistan through justice and fairness in revenue administration.

Dr. Asad Ali Shah is a professor, researcher, and entrepreneur. He has earned his Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. His core areas of interest are social research methods, technology & innovation, and entrepreneurship. He has been conducting several workshops and seminars on academic and non-academic topics at national and international forums. He has been teaching at different universities in Pakistan and Canada. He is the author of a number of publications, including a book, journal articles, and reports. He is actively engaged in various social and community welfare projects and also supervises several academic researches. After completing his doctoral degree in Canada, Dr. Shah returned to Pakistan in 2018 to serve his country. Currently, Dr. Asad is heading a technology & research company, teaching at a private university, and also leading a research & publication network.

Fellow in International Relations and Peace Studies at St. Edmund Hall and the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Oxford. Adib-Moghaddam received his Professorship at SOAS as one of the youngest academics in his field.
