Tasmia Tahira has completed her PhD from the Centre of Defence and Security Studies, Massey University Tasmia Tahira is a founding member of the national research network Middle East and Islamic Studies (MEISA) hosted by the University of Otago. Her research focused on the construction of the military’s political legitimacy in Pakistan.
