The Birth Defects Foundation decided to open e-health centers in 20 cities of Pakistan to provide free treatment to children whose sex was not specified at the time of the birth. The chief monitoring officer (CMO) of the education department told the media that one-fifth of the government schools in Dadu district remained completely non-functional in the year 2020 while 218 government school teachers remained absent from their duties.
